Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda share long borders with each other and also have similar climates with relatively long rainy seasons early in the year and short rainy seasons late in the year. As a result, most people think the best time to take African safari holidays is between June and mid-late October.
In the past, most people arriving in Kenya, Tanzania or Uganda on African safari holidays were able to obtain a visa upon arrival. That is no longer the case.
