Day 1 Leave Arusha Tour to Serengeti National Park(350 km – 6 hours)
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti national park with your lunch box. We will arrive late in the afternoon for an evening game view for about two hours then slowly make our way to the tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Full day Tour to Serengeti National Park
We have another full day in this wonderful park, marking the second night of our itinerary. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of the year. We can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the fresh water happily living alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebras, which travel with the wildebeest. We journey from the wide open plains to the kopjes. These volcanic rocky outcrops provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals and from the top we can look out across the vast grasslands of the Serengeti. We return to our tented camp for the overnight.
Day 3 Tour to Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater(180 km – 3 to 4 hrs)
We start the day with an early morning game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is a special place being a Conservation Area rather than a National Park; this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Masai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. After early picnic lunch, we shall proceed to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend into the Crater floor (19.2 km of diameter, 610 m deep, 304 sq km) for another game drive. All the Big five: Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera. Other wildlife are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, and Hyena among many others. Birds include flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more.
Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’, the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World. This breathtaking oasis provides a haven for both predator and prey to live among grasslands, fresh springs and the large soda lake. Large herds of zebra, buffalo, antelope and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun.
Day 4 Depart to Amboseli National Park(250 km – 6 hours)
We now come to the Kenya leg of your Tanzania and Kenya Luxury Safari! In the morning, we depart for Amboseli National park driving through Namanga at the Kenya -Tanzania border. We should arrive in time for lunch at the camp. We then proceed with an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 5 Full Day at Amboseli National Park
Early morning game drive in search for the rich wildlife of Kenya. Popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo are found here along with great views of Mt Kilimanjaro. We return to your camp for dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 6 Depart Amboseli National Park to Lake Nakuru (386 km – 6 to 7 hrs)
We leave Amboseli National Park and drive to Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru is famous for its pink flamingos and with over 400 species of birds found here. Lake Nakuru has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species, particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the Black and White Rhino. Lions, Water-buck, Buffalo, Monkeys and Baboons are all residents here. En-route we will pick up your packed lunch and proceed to Lake Nakuru Flamingo Hill Camp for check in. Later check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National park for an afternoon game drive. Later we have dinner and overnight our Camp.
Day 7 Depart From Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara(300 km – 5 to 6 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed for a short game drive as we exit the park. We shall drive to via the Great Rift Valley, and have a stop over along the way for lunch. We shall then proceed to Masai Mara, and arrive later afternoon. We shall proceed with our afternoon game drive till dusk. Some of the famous wild animals include: lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants. Dinner and overnight stay at your Camp.
Day 8 Spend Full Day in Masai Mara with Game Drives at Morning & Afternoon
Masai Mara is the home to all the Big 5 Wild animals namely: Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Leopards and Rhinos. Other wild animals found in the park include: Hippos, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Warthogs, Hyenas, Jackals, Wild dogs and many kinds of Antelopes. Spend the all day in search of the big 5 and many other wild game. We take you to your lodge late in the evening.
Day 9 Spend Full Day in Masai Mara with Game Drives at Morning & Afternoon
A full day spent viewing the great predators and explore the parks with an amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During the stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience
Day 10 Depart From Masai Mara Game Reserve to Nairobi(265 km – 5 to 6 hrs)
After breakfast, we will have an early morning game drive before we drive back to Nairobi City. We check out and drive to Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon. We will then transfer you to your hotel before your departure. This caps off your Tanzania and Kenya Luxury Safari.
