Depart for a half day drive west via Mubende to Fort Portal. Overnight at Ndali Safari Lodge (Luxury) or Rwenzori View Guest house (Midrange) or Kanyankyu ecological centre (Budget).
After Break fast, we shall move into the Forest, for primate viewing. The activity starts at 8.00 am in the morning. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and primates in close quarters. After lunch, a visit to Bigodi swamp eco tourism site is amazing, as we shall encounter rare and beautiful flora and fauna.
After breakfast depart for Lake Mburo National Park. This drive will take you to Agip Motel in Mbarara where you will stop for lunch. We will then continue to Lake Mburo. After checking in, go for a game drive in the rolling hills and open grasslands. Overnight at Luxury Mantana Tented camp/Basic Rwonyo Rest Camp (FB).
After an early morning breakfast you will have a guided nature walk. A ranger guide takes you on foot to the bush. Lake Mburo is the only place in this part of Uganda where you can see zebra and Impala and it’s also the best place to see the African Eland, Africa’s largest antelope! You will arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon.
