Day 1 Arrival to Nairobi
Arrival and Transfers from Airport to the Sarova Stanley Hotel. Overnight at Nairobi Hotel B/B
Day 2 Nairobi to Samburu NP (327 km – 5 to 6 hrs)
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through rich farmlands on the shoulders of Mt. Kenya to the rugged semi-desert of Samburu. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in a Safari Jeep with pop up roof.
Day 3 Samburu Full Day
Breakfast. Full day with 2 game drives exploring the Shaba and Buffalo Springs National Reserves which are predominantly arid areas interspersed with thorn tree bushes, acacia woodland giving way to isolated crags and natural springs cascading in to the river banks. All Meals at the lodge.
Day 4 Samburu to Lake Nakuru NP(338 km – 6 to 7 hrs)
Breakfast. Leaving Samburu behind, you’ll travel south through Isiolo, crossing the northernmost foothills of Kenya, until you get to the town of Nanyuki. Here you’ll head west to Nyahururu, still known to many as Thomson’s Falls for its 237-foot cascade. Now travel in a Southerly direction to your next destination: Lake Nakuru, colored shimmering flamingo pink from thousand of beautiful birds lining its shores. You’ll arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge – affording unforgettable views of the lake from its hillside preach. Return to the lodge to freshen up for dinner.
Day 5 Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara(300 km – 5 hrs)
Breakfast. Leaving flamingo-fringed Lake Nakuru behind, you head southwards and turn right at Maai Mahiu to ascend up over the top of the Mau Escarpment. Then heading due south, you travel towards Narok, gateway to the Maasai Mara and district Headquarters of this part of Maasai land. You’ll travel across the “breadbasket” of Kenya, covered with acres of wheat and barely, you’ll reach your destination, Mara Sarova Tented lodge, by lunchtime. Return to the lodge freshens up for dinner.
Day 6 Masai Mara Full Day
Enjoy the full day in Mara with two games drive included All Meals at the lodge.
Day 7 Maasai Mara – Nairobi(265 km – 5 to 6 hrs)
Early Morning breakfast at your camp check out of the camp and park and Drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Lunch at carnivore afterwards drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
( Optional to our clients with Flights) – if you have afternoon flight you need Lunch at Carnivore, but if you have evening flight you can do more game drive till lunch time, you arrive Nairobi around 5 to 6 pm.
