### 1. Nairobi – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast from your 5-Star hotel, you leave for bird searching in Nairobi National Park till afternoon. Thereafter you leave Nairobi for more bird searching in Lake Naivasha. In Naivasha, have a chance to see bird species like Aberdare Cisticola, Sharpe’s Long Claw, Levaillant’s Cisticolas, Maccoa, and White-backed Ducks among others. Spend your overnight at a lodge in Lake Naivasha. ### 2. Lake Naivasha – Kakamega National Park

You start with an early morning breakfast before leaving for Kakamega Forest Reserve arriving there during Midday. After lunch, you get in the forest searching for birds. Kakamega forest is the only rain forest remaining in Kenya; where lots of bird species can be found. Pranticole, White-Crested TURACO, Copper’s Sunbird, Bra-breasted Fire Finch, Yellow-throated Leaf love, Senegal Coucal are examples of the bird species found in this Forest. ### 3. Full Day bird watching in Kakamega National Park

After breakfast have an exciting nature walk accompanied by your local guide. During this time there are high chances of seeing a large variety of bird species endemic to this region as well a diverse plant life. Afterwards depart for Kisumu city located on the shores of Lake Victoria arriving at the Vic Hotel for lunch. In the afternoon we will enjoy watching the birds African open bill stork, Swamp flycatcher, Red chested sunbird, Hammerkop, Eastern grey plantain-eater etc. around the lake as you have a boat ride in the lake. ### 4. Kakamega National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park

You start with an early morning breakfast in Kisumu before leaving for Lake Nakuru National Park to learn more about the migratory species of birds. Lake Nakuru is most famous for flocks of flamingos. You spend your day in birds’ habitats like in alkaline shores, grasslands. Acacia Woodlands and rivers. You later drive to a Lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park for dinner and overnight. Lunch is provided during midday. ### 5. Lake Nakuru National Park – Samburu National Reserve

Rise early for a morning game drive then return to the camp for breakfast. Leave the park with an en-route game drive and proceed to fiercely beautiful Samburu National Reserve. Have lunch then head out for an exciting afternoon game drive till sunset where you will return to the lodge for rest. You can plan time to visit the local villages and interact with the community. ### 6. Full Day in Samburu National Reserve

Have yet another full day in samburu for morning and afternoon game drive at the park the sharp contrast of colours is the most remarkable feature of the trio of the samburu, shaba and buffalo springs National reserve the hazy blues of the surrounding hills and an infinite sky, the chocolate brown of the uaso nyiro river, the white dusty soils interspaced with the vivid greens of semi desert vegetation and the prehistoric looking doum palm the only palm tree which has branches scattered amongst the granite boulders and ancient black lava flows, found in the shaba reserve the regions animal life also pays tribute to the artist to the artist palette with curious blue legged somali ostriches, chestnut coloured reticulated giraffes, black and white grevy’s zebras, gerenuk gazelles, and the grey green nile crocodiles which inhabit the uaso nyiro river which flows through shaba and samburu. ### 7. Samburu National Reserve – Meru National Park

After an early safari and breakfast, we will depart Samburu and drive to Meru National park where we will arrive in time for lunch, after a short rest we will get down to game drives in the park. Meru National Park is wild and beautiful. Straddling the equator and bisected by 13 rivers and numerous mountain-fed streams, it is an especially beautiful area of Kenya. It has diverse scenery from woodlands at 3,400ft (1,036m) on the slopes of Nyambeni Mountain Range, north east of Mt. Kenya, to wide open plains with meandering riverbanks dotted with doum palms. We will come back in the evening for dinner and overnight at your camp. ### 8. Full Day in Meru National Park

After breakfast, we will do full day game drives in Meru National park. Over 300 species of birds have been recorded, including: Red-necked falcon, Heuglins courser, brown-backed woodpecker, sunbirds Peter’s Fin foot, inhabiting the Murera and Ura Rivers; Pel’s Fishing Owl, kingfishers, rollers, bee-eaters, starlings and weavers. The Park is most famous as the setting for Joy Adamson’s book “Born Free”, the story of the Adamson’s life and research amongst lion and cheetah. “Elsa” the lioness was the most well-known and her grave is marked here. Look out for lion, elephant, cheetah, leopard black rhino, zebra, gazelle, Oryx and some of the rarer antelope, Lesser Kudu and duiker, also the more common Dik Dik, one of Africa’s smallest antelope. Large prides of lion can be seen and some of Kenya’s largest herds of buffalo. The rivers abound with hippo and crocodile, fishing for barbus and catfish is permitted at camp sites and along the Tana River. ### 9. Meru National Park – Nairobi

After breakfast, you will transit through Mount Kenya region one of the Kenyans highlands the temperatures will tend to rise gradually and vegetation change from freshly broad leaves to thick thin leaves. We shall have our lunch en-route to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, we shall drop you off at your place of residence or the airport for your flight to your onward destination.
