Safari Booking Terms and Conditions
Reservation: A deposit of 50% of the total safari cost is required at the time of booking confirmation and the balance on the day you start your safari or the day we pick you up from the airport.
Cancellation: Any monies paid will be refunded less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels or food expenses and administrative costs, as indicated below.

IMPORTANT:SAFARI BOOKING POSTPONEMENT/CANCELLATION TERMS SPECIFIC TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: Bookings confirmed and secured with a deposit but affected by official COVID-19-related travel bans/restrictions will be eligible to be postponed for up to two years (24 months) from the original date at no extra cost. Africa Flash McTours and Travel will hold credit to the value of the booking until it is reconfirmed. Safari booking postponement shall be governed by the following terms:
Due to the global magnitude of the COVID-19 pandemic, our guest refunds (specific to COVID-19 cases) shall be done within 30 days of receipt of cancellation of the safari. (Please note that this can, however, be reviewed as the situation unfolds.) |
Rates: Included are all expenses in respect of the vehicle and driver/guide as per itinerary, meals while on safari, and entrance fees to national parks and game reserves.
Transportation: Safari vans, 4 x 4 Land Cruisers or coaches will be provided, depending on the tour vehicle you have chosen.
Accommodation: Based on two persons sharing a twin room/tent; where possible, rooms with private bath are provided. Single rooms are available at an additional cost and can be guaranteed on request. Hotels/lodges are named as an indication of category, and rooms may be reserved at similar hotels/lodges.
Alteration to tours: The company reserves the right to alter arrangements or cancel the operation of a scheduled tour should conditions necessitate. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time, in which case an equitable amount will be refunded. Prices are based on tariffs and other costs prevailing at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice.
Liability: The company and its agents act only as agents of the tours, transport, etc. and shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss or damage in any form.
The company’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicle is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour takes place and no other country. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the action arises. The company reserves the right to employ subcontractors for all or part of the services. The company shall not be held responsible for any loss or damages to luggage.
Complaints on Safari
Any complaints that may arise during the safari should be communicated immediately to your tour manager (in writing, via email/WhatsApp) for on-site attention, verification and immediate correction.
If the complaint is not addressed on site, a summary of the complaint should be communicated to the company in writing within 30 days of completion of the safari tour for the necessary action.
The complaints/issues raised shall be investigated and addressed within 15 days of formal receipt of the complaint/issue.
