Once in the park, you will embark upon your first Tanzanian safari, which comes in the form of a two-hour, early evening game drive. Another day inside the amazing Masai Mara can offer you chance to explore deeper and get a fuller understanding of the lifecycles at play on the rolling hills dotted with acacia trees. Breakfast will be served before setting out into the park to track the animals with your expert Kenyan safari guide.
Living on these lands for generations uncountable, the Masai people are world famous for their symbiotic relationship with the park and their respect and control of the animals within. On this day, you are offered the optional activity of visiting a Masai village; a chance to get close up to the culture and explore their way of life.
The trip includes a traditional greeting in song and dance, plus time to look around the village and visit a local home. There is an extra fee for this unique experience of $20 per person.
