All You Need to Know About the Uganda E-Visa

All You Need to Know About the Uganda E-Visa

Whether you’re coming to trek mountain gorillas, explore vibrant Kampala, or experience Uganda’s warm hospitality, you must obtain an approved Uganda e-Visa before you travel. This includes all travelers, regardless of age—even infants and children.

Applications must be submitted through the official Government of Uganda e-Visa portal:
www.visas.immigration.go.ug. Standard applications are usually processed within 7 business days, though you should apply at least 2 weeks in advance to allow for any delays or additional document requests. If you have an urgent trip, expedited processing may be available in limited circumstances.

For assistance, contact the Uganda Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control at support@immigration.go.ug or call +256 414 595945.
