Start your first holiday of married life exploring the lakes and plains of Kenya, with two lakes that are a part of the Great African Rift Valley and home to some of the most diverse avian populations in Africa. To begin the first day of your honeymoon, we will collect you from the airport, or your hotel or residence in Nairobi and set out towards to Great African Rift Valley. The landscape has been moulded by millions of years of volcanic and tectonic activity, and you can see dormant volcanoes as you pass through the Kenyan countryside.
When you arrive in Lake Naivasha National Park you will pass through the plains where the animals live as you make your way to your selected camp or lodge. Once here you can take time to settle in and be served lunch with views out across the lake and plains of the park.
The afternoon presents a chance to take a boat out to Crescent Island where herbivores come to drink in peace, and later in the evening you can take an optional walking safari around the shores of the lake. Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp is located on the shores of a fresh water lake in Kenya which is about 90 minutes of leisurely drive North West of Nairobi, outside the town of Naivasha along Moi South road.

You’ll wake up early and head out to explore Hell’s Gate National Park. With stunning geographical features and an abundance of wildlife, although one of the smaller parks in Kenya it’s well worth the early start to take in the rising sun and morning light. Northbound towards Lake Nakuru, you’ll be crossing through the unique vistas of the Great African Rift Valley. After you’ve had breakfast it’s back on the road to Nairobi and the opportunity to watch the countryside go by – this is one of the most fertile stretches of Kenya.
In the capital city, we will take you to lunch at the famed Carnivore restaurant, then take you to Wilson Airport for you to catch your scheduled, domestic flight to Ukundu at the coastal city of Mombasa. We will ensure that you have a transfer from the airport to take you down the coast to the idyllic town of Diani.

Once in the capital city, you will be treated again to another meal at the well-renowned restaurant of Carnivore. From here, you can request that your driver take you to the international airport for an onwards flight, or ask that you be taken to a hotel or residence in Nairobi, depending on your not steps.
