When you arrive at the national reserve, you’ll be collected from the airstrip by your dedicated Kenyan tour guide. No one else will join your group; you will have control over how your game drives are scheduled and how your day unfolds.
2 nights Masai Mara

Whether you’re staying in a hotel or residence, or landing at Joma Kenyatta International Airport that morning, we will come and pick you up in time to catch your flight to the Masai Mara from Wilson Airport. Take this chance to look out over the landscape passing underneath you; these are the ancient lands believed to be where the first humans evolved.
Upon arrival at the airstrip in Masai Mara, your driver will collect you and take you to your accommodation in time for lunch service. Now is your chance to begin to unwind and start to understand your surroundings. Once you’re settled and comfortable, it’s time for you to head out on your first game drive. This is your chance to possible see some of the big five of African safari and start to understand the grasslands of the Masai Mara.
Upon your return to your camp or lodge, you will be served your dinner and then have the evening at your disposal. Most accommodation options have viewing terraces or rooms to allow you chance to watch over the park’s nocturnal activities. The first day of your Kenyan safari includes:

Whilst your flight into the Masai Mara was visually stunning, you can take another view form up in the clouds whilst at the park. For an additional fee of $425, you can take a hot air balloon ride over the plains of the Masai Mara and watch the dawn break from up above. When you come back down you will be served a bubbly bush breakfast, with views out over the luscious lands.
You can continue your day with game drives, with the choice to spend the full day out in the reserve with a picnic lunch, or returning to the lodge for lunch and time to recuperate before the next expedition. This is also the time of your trip that you have the chance to visit a village of the Masai people. Along with traditional dancing, you will be invited to walk around the village and even go into a home of one of the families. To take part in this activity there is a $20 additional fee.

The break of dawn is a special time on the Masai Mara, with animals rousing from their nightly slumber or returning to the well-crafter burrows. To be able to listen to the dawn chorus over these plains is a truly wonderful experience, which we offer you today.
Once you’ve taken in the light of the day, you will be whisked back to your accommodation for a late breakfast and to check out. Your drive will take you through the park to the airstrip, where you may be afforded one final glimpse of these majestic creatures.
Once at the airstrip, you will board your plane back to the capital of Kenya, where will collect you from the airport and take you to your hotel, residence, or to one of the international schools. This last day of your African safari includes:

Flights Notice
When taking domestic flights between parks, it is important that you only carry soft sided bags rather than hard-cased suitcases. There is a strict limit of 15kg, or 33lbs, combined for each passenger’s luggage, including hand luggage. Excess baggage will be charged by the airline directly at check in. Please also ensure that you are carrying your passport, or other official identification.
