You will be picked up early from your accommodation in Nairobi and start to make your way to the Masai Mara. The journey takes you through the Great African Rift Valley and there will be opportunities to stop and allow you to take in the vistas and take photos to preserve your memories.
Lunch is arranged at a local village, consisting of traditional Kenyan food, before you finally reach the Masai Mara Game Reserve and settle into your accommodation. The Masai Mara offers some of the best chances to see animals such as cheetahs and leopards hiding among the acacia boughs that dot the rolling landscape. Lunch is served picnic style during your game drive, keeping you close to the nature you’ve travelled so far to see.
As well as the wildlife, the park is home to the tribe of Masai warriors. Their bravery is known the world over in their battles with the animals of the savanna, and they welcome you into the culture with traditional song and dance.
