These changes may come at an extra cost.

Day 1 Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve (265 km – 5 to 6 hours)
Pick up from your Nairobi accommodation is at 7.30am, and you’ll be taken on a journey through the Great African Rift Valley. You will be stunned and inspired by rolling plains and summits such as Mount Longonot and the Susewa Ranges.
Entering the Masai Mara, you are on the lands of the iconic Masai people, whose villages you’re your journey to your accommodation. After some time to settle into your rooms, your first game drive begins. Be on the look out for the wildlife you’ve been waiting for: giraffes, lions, rhinos, and so many more creatures of the grasslands will be roaming across the landscape.
The evening sees dinner served in your accommodation, when you can prepare for the big day of exploration in the morning. This first day of your Kenyan safari includes:
Day 2 Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
The Masai Mara is home to millions of animals, teeming with biodiversity, and filled with eco-systems beyond imagining. Your full day inside Masai Mara will explore the wonders of the plains and show you the stunning animals within.
Acacia trees stud the landscape, animals range through your field of vision, birds flock overhead. Your expert African safari guide will be on hand to track the wildlife and help you identify and understand the creatures of the Serengeti.
This day will present you with a chance given to few – the option of a hot-air balloon safari. Change your perspective of the savanna and trace the movements of the fauna from the air, catching their shadows and contemplating their routes from above.
A visit to a Masai village can also be arranged; a chance to understand the culture of the nomadic warriors of the Great African Rift Valley. A welcoming song and dance is followed by a chance to explore the village, learn something of the way of life of the Masai, and visit a family home. Each of these activities are optional and have extra costs, $425 per person for the balloon safari, and $20 per person to visit the village.

Day 3 Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park (300 km – 5 to 6 hours)
You can choose an early morning game drive to watch as the plains transition from dawn to daylight – a time of great activity for the animals of the savanna. After breakfast you’ll progress through the Great African Rift Valley, with stops at scenic points giving you chance to capture photos of the enchanting scenery.
Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and then partake in an afternoon of brid watching. As well as flocks of bright pink flamingos, there are myriad bird species for you to marvel at. There’s also a rhino sanctuary within the park and you can choose to visit to see these most endangered of animals.
This day of your wildlife safari includes:
Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha (85 – 2 hours)
A morning of bird watching starts your day, before you continue your adventure through the valleys of Kenya and head to Lake Naivasha.
Once at the lake and having had lunch, there’ll be a boat trip to Crescent Island. Here, the large herbivores of the plains graze and cool down, with

Other activities you can partake in at Lake Naivasha include optional extra such as bicycle riding and a tour of Hell’s Gate National Park.
Your fourth day on African safari includes:
Day 5 Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park (310 km – 5 to 6 hours)
Breakfast will ready for you the long yet easy drive to Amboseli. All around you will be the landscape of the Great African Rift Valley as you cruise down the Naivashi – Nairobi Highway. This is your chance to see a slice of rural Kenya – to see how the locals live away from the national parks.
Mount Kilimanjaro will come into view as you enter Amboseli National Park. Once your luggage is safely at your accommodation there’ll be an afternoon game drive, showcasing the rolling hills and great game of this part of the Serengeti.

Day 6 Full Day in Amboseli National Park
You’ll rise early for a pre-breakfast game drive. Life pervades every nook and valley of the grasslands at this time of day – nocturnal animals head to their resting places as the animals of the day begin their cycle of feeding and preying that breathes energy into the landscape.
Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, watches over you roaming and with luck the clouds won’t roll in before you get your perfect photograph of the snow-capped peak. Spend your day looking out for
And all the other fauna that live off the luscious, green grasslands of Kenya.
Lunch is served picnic style, surrounded by the beauty of the park and dinner is served at your accommodation. Included in the sixth day of your Kenyan safari is:
Day 7 Amboseli National Park -Tsavo West National Park (154 km – 3 to 4 hours)
The morning gives you chance to bid farewell to Amboseli, as Kilimanjaro looms large in the background. A final game drive through the park comes before the journey to Tsavo West National Park.
Tsavo is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya, and is dissected by a highway splitting the ranges into West and East parks. The Tsavo river meanders through the palm groves, riverine forests, and grasslands of the park, presenting ample game spotting opportunity.
Lunch and dinner will be served at your accommodation, located within the park boundaries. Included in this day of your wildlife safari is:
Day 8 Tsavo West National Park – Tsavo East National Park (207 km – 4 hours)
Morning in Tsavo is spent on a game drive and a visit to the Mzima Springs. The horizon is lined with rocky outcrops and jagged rocks as the savanna rolls towards you. Here you can spot

As you cross over to East Tsavo National Park you will be moving through one of the most biodiverse landscapes on the face of Earth. The river, grasslands, and forests, ensure that all life great and small thrives, making your trip through here truly magical.

Day 9 Tsavo East National Park – Nairobi (425 km – 7 to 8 hours)
Awake for your final morning on African safari and head on an early morning game drive through Tsavo East National Park and catch one final glimpse of the animals you’ve spent the last eight days tracking, watching, and photographing.
The drive back to Nairobi will take your through picture perfect landscapes, a swansong to the breath-taking landscape of your adventure. You can choose to continue to the coastline with options for drops off at Mombasa, Watamu, Diani, or Bamburi, instead.
