Genocide Memorial
Here, the tragic events of 1994 are commemorated in a poignantly heartfelt, yet educational, experience. Visitors learn about the event and the subsequent path to peace.
Campaign Against Genocide Museum
Visitors gain an overview of the efforts of the Rwandan Patriotic Front, under the current president, Paul Kagame, to end the genocide being committed against the Tutsi people.
Kigali Craft Market
Visitors get a first-hand look at the craftsmanship that goes into producing authentic Rwandan artworks. This is a great opportunity to purchase a few souvenirs of your trip.
The Kigali Craft Market showcases traditional Rwandan arts and crafts, as well as being a great place to do some souvenir shopping.
Food Market
This is where the majority of Kigali’s residents purchase their fresh produce, a bustling hub of commerce and culture.
Mille Collines Hotel (Hotel Rwanda)
You’ll enjoy lunch at this historic landmark, once a place of refuge during the genocide.
