Welcome to Rwanda! Our One-Day Kigali City Tour is designed for those who would like a quick, yet comprehensive introduction to Rwandan culture, its history and the day-to-day lives of its people. The tour takes visitors to several key places of interest, where experienced guides will share their specialist knowledge. Highlights include the Natural History Museum, the Genocide Memorial and Museum, as well as various markets and a historic hotel.

Our representative will meet you at your hotel. After briefing you on what to expect, you will board our vehicle for the full-day tour of Kigali. Please note that while you will visit all the destinations mentioned, the exact order may vary. The places to be visited include:
Natural History Museum
The Rwandan Natural History Museum boasts a diverse exhibition showcasing Rwanda’s natural heritage, including the fauna, flora and geology.
Genocide Memorial
Here, the tragic events of 1994 are commemorated in a poignantly heartfelt, yet educational, experience. Visitors learn about the event and the subsequent path to peace.
Campaign Against Genocide Museum
Visitors gain an overview of the efforts of the Rwandan Patriotic Front, under the current president, Paul Kagame, to end the genocide being committed against the Tutsi people.
Kigali Craft Market
Visitors get a first-hand look at the craftsmanship that goes into producing authentic Rwandan artworks. This is a great opportunity to purchase a few souvenirs of your trip.
The Kigali Craft Market showcases traditional Rwandan arts and crafts, as well as being a great place to do some souvenir shopping.
Food Market
This is where the majority of Kigali’s residents purchase their fresh produce, a bustling hub of commerce and culture.
Mille Collines Hotel (Hotel Rwanda)
You’ll enjoy lunch at this historic landmark, once a place of refuge during the genocide.
On concluding the tour, you will be returned to your hotel, where we wish you well on your onward travels.
