KATO member AS/687The wonders of two of Kenya’s most famous national parks await, with iconic scenery and the beasts of Africa you’re travelling so far to see. Kilimanjaro will be your faithful backdrop during your time in Amboseli, and the change of scenery in Tsavo West will introduce you to the Mzima Hot Springs and the geology that come along with them.
Between these two massive parks, you are highly likely to be able to spot the big five of African safari, that is:
Along with plenty other animals that are synonymous with Kenyan nature. You will embark on plenty of game drives with great chances to sight these, and other fauna that inhabit these lands. For a different take on life in the plains, you will also be invited to visit a village of the Maasai people.
On your safari with us, your booking is private so only you and your party will travel in your vehicle. Your English-speaking Kenyan safari guide will be dedicated to your enjoyment and understanding, helping you to spot the animals you want to see.
You have an opportunity to watch Buffalo here.
You have an opportunity to watch Elephant here.
You have an opportunity to watch Lion here.
Return to your comfortable lodge for seclusion and relaxation after the trip.

At 7am we will get your Kenyan safari started, with a pick up from your hotel or residence, or the airport. Heading south east, the countryside you pass through will be typically Kenyan, with towns and villages along the route. From the moment you pass through the gates of Amboseli you’re on a game drive, with sighting of some of great beasts of these lands extremely likely as you make your way to your chosen camp or lodge.
After your lunch on arrival, you’ll head out into the park and begin your first full game drive. Here, you are joined by the monumental Mount Kilimanjaro. Africa’s highest peak looms large across the horizon of Amboseli and will offer you stunning backdrops to your photography.
The evening will see you return to your accommodation for dinner. There will be terraces or large windows for you take in the evening views across the landscape. Included in the first day of your Kenyan safari is:

As dawn breaks is the best time to view Kilimanjaro; the day’s clouds are unlikely to have rolled in. Head out into the park before the sun rises with an aim to make this sighting, along with to rousing of the animals, readying to start another day in the plains of Amboseli. Once your thirst for wonder has been sated, you’ll head back to your chosen accommodation for breakfast before venturing straight back out into the grasslands.
At this point, you are invited to visit a village of the famed Masai people for an additional fee of $25. Their culture is special; they have the ability to thrive in this environment, alongside some of the most beautiful and deadly creatures on the planet. You will be greeted with a song and dance that’s traditional for newcomers in Masai culture, then given chance to walk around the village and get a taste for their culture.
Once finished at the village, you’ll make your way over to Tsavo West National Park, eastwards. Once you arrive at your camp or lodge within the park lunch will be served and you’ll head out on an afternoon game drive to become familiar with the different terrain offered by Tsavo.
Evening will see you return to your accommodation for dinner and a well-deserved rest. The second day of your Kenyan safari includes:

Dawn breaks once you’re out in the savanna and within sight of some of the stunning game hosted in this park. Early morning is a time of activity and wonder on the plains, as the animals of the day emerge from their slumber and ready to take on the day. Tsavo West is famed for its herds of elephant that number around 3,500 animals, as well as:
And plenty more.
Once you’re seen the sun rise into the sky, you’ll return to your camp or lodge for breakfast and ready to depart. As you prepare to return to Nairobi, you’ll be afforded one final game drive, including a visit to Mzima Hot Springs, a haven for wildlife in this dry and arid land. A picnic lunch will be given to you as you make the final trip back to Nairobi, where you can request we drop you off at your hotel, residence, or at the international airport, depending on your onward plans.
Included in the final day of your African safari experience is:
Every itinerary can be crafted to your needs, from adjusting the length of your stay to including different accommodation and refining the route. Your safari is yours, shaped around your idea of a dream experience.
