Lake Mburo National Park

Lake Mburo National Park is located in Kiruhura District of western Uganda.  It covers an area of 370 sq. km (143 sq. mi) and is roughly 240 km (149 mi) southwest of the capital, Kampala.

The dry seasons promise the best conditions for game viewing, with wildlife concentrated around water sources and the roads and trails easier to navigate.  These drier periods occur from June to August and from December to February.
