Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge is set in one hundred and fifty acres of grassland studded with Acacia bushes and trees. The resort is not only home to resident giraffe, waterbuck and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys, but it is also a night stop for the hippos when they leave the lake every night to come and trim the grass on our expansive lawns.
The buildings were carefully positioned so as not to cut any trees and to help conserve the environment. The main public area building was designed artistically which snakes its way between the trees with long and graceful curves. Designed with nature in mind, the resort’s buildings blend into the landscape. The artistic design of the main public areas adds to the quiet and beautiful experience. You can enjoy activities like bird watching, nature walks, and boat trips, ensuring the best experience and safety!

21 Cottages Built In a Crescent Shape
Each room at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort ensures comfort and luxury. The spacious interiors feature large, comfortable beds, offering the best experience after a day of exploring. Natural surroundings and large windows allow for natural light while providing stunning views of the lush gardens. Modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, a minibar, and bathrooms with high-end fixtures are available to improve your experience.
The exterior walls of the cottages have stone walls giving it character and creepers and bougainvilleas add a lot of colors. The same stonework is carried into the rooms and is the exterior bathroom wall. The banister going up the top floor is wrought iron as well and the same creepers and bougainvilleas are entwined around them. Our double-story guest cottages with their ingeniously designed roofs gently sweep away from one side of the main building to form a crescent which leads towards the lake shore.
