Tip 1: Bring lots of memory cards – The last thing you want is to have the perfect photo present itself to you and then run out of memory on your card. So bring 3 or 4 times as much memory as you think you’re going to need. Because chances are you will use most of it. Batteries too.

Tip 2: Be patient – Don’t be satisfied with a couple of quick shots. Be patient and keep snapping. Be mindful of the light and other environmental factors like dust kicked up by the animals. Remember; the first shot is almost never the best shot.
