This safari offers you enough time in the park to really gain and understanding of the nature and the daily cycle that has been lived on these lands for hundreds of thousands of years. The Masai Mara is iconic, with it’s red-orange land, abundance of wildlife, and nomadic tribes that roam the lands. Your tour will see you explore the national reserve from different angles and at different times, giving you chance to get stunning photographs and make memories that will endure a lifetime.
Your tour will be led by an expert Kenyan safari guide, in a vehicle with a pop-up roof that is for your own personal use. The guide will be skilled in tracking animals through the park, as well as helping you spot and identify the many wild creatures that you’re sure to encounter on your travels.
3 nights Masai Mara
(45 minutes)
Whether you’re already in Nairobi at a hotel or residence, or are landing at Joma Kenyatta airport that morning, we will come and collect you and take you over to Wilson Airport. From here, you will take a place down to the famed lands of the Masai Mara. During the flight you’ll be able to see some of the stunning Kenyan countryside from the air and arrive at the national reserve in style.
Once in Masai Mara, your guide will meet you and take you to your chosen accommodation. Here, you can relax, unpack your bags, and have your lunch. After time to unwind, you will be taken on your first game drive across the plains and grasslands. Ranging across the territory, your dreams will unfold in front of you, with sighting of:

Following your first day exploring the Masai Mara, you will return to your camp or lodge for dinner and a well-earned rest. For a truly magical experience in the Masai Mara, you are presented with the option of a dawn Hot Air Balloon Safari, with an additional cost of $425 per person. Start early, with pick-up at 5.15am, and head over to the ballooning site. You’ll be airborne and able to take in the spectacular views, with grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see, and herds of animals starting their morning. Back on solid ground, you’ll have a champagne breakfast, served in out on the plains as the sun begins to rise.
The rest of the morning is then for relaxation, with the chance to take advantage of spa treatments at your lodge or camp at additional costs. Once you’ve treated yourself and had your lunch, it’s time to hit the road once more to go on an afternoon game drive. This is another chance to take your adventure out into the park and find more of the beautiful animals the Masai Mara is so famous for.
After a day filled with activity and delight, it’s time to return to your accommodation for dinner and rest. The second day of your African safari adventure includes:
Rise early and head out into the Masai Mara for a sunrise game drive. Dawn is an enchanting time across the reserve, as the nocturnal animals head to the resting places and the creatures of the daytime emerge, fresh to tackle the day surviving on the grasslands. This is your chance to get the stunning early light for your photography and also capture the animals taking advantage of the cooler weather to hunt, preen, and play.
Breakfast will be served back at your accommodation and you’ll head straight back out to explore the Masai Mara. You’ll be able to follow different paths to your previous game drives and find even more the wonderful animals your travelled so far to see. Return to your camp or lodge for lunch and then end the day with a final, evening game drive.
The chance to punctuate your day with a sunset game drive will have shown you the full routine of the lands. Once sated from your day’s safari adventure, you’ll be served dinner and then have time to rest up in preparation for the following day. Included in the third day of your Kenyan safari is:

As your swansong to the Masai Mara, wake up early for your final sunrise game drive. As much as the days here are built upon routine, every day is fresh and new, ready for you to discover more new animals and have new encounters with ones already seen. You’ll return to your camp or lodge for breakfast and then squeeze in one final game drive.
After lunch and chance to collect your bags, you’ll make your final journey through the national reserve and head over to the airstrip. Your flight will depart at 4pm and you’ll land in Nairobi in time for us to take you to your hotel or residence, or transfer you directly to the international airport for onward flights, depending on your plans.

Flights Notice
When taking domestic flights between parks, it is important that you only carry soft sided bags rather than hard-cased suitcases. There is a strict limit of 15kg, or 33lbs, combined for each passenger’s luggage, including hand luggage. Excess baggage will be charged by the airline directly at check in. Please also ensure that you are carrying your passport, or other official identification.
