Day 1 Nairobi – Samburu (389 km – 5 to 6 hrs)
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning and depart for Samburu arriving with a short game drive. Check in at Ashnil Samburu camp and have lunch. Later afternoon game drive across the park with its unique resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe,Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich .
Day 2 Samburu National Reserve
The reserve takes its name from a massive cone of volcanic rock which dominates the region. The Ewaso Ngiro River marks the parks northern border on its way to Chanler’s Falls as it snakes its way to the Lorian Swamp. Many small hills dot Shaba’s landscape and with four springs, Shaba is better watered than Buffalo Springs and Samburu, two neighboring national game reserves. During the rainy season, the tracks are made passable only to four wheel drive vehicles; this makes the reserve an even more delightful getaway. This is the essence of Shaba, a place for the connoisseur, the quality of the experience exceeds the quantity of wildlife.
Day 3 Samburu – Aberdares (238 km. – 5 hrs)
Early morning game drive then breakfast at your camp. Leave Samburu for Aberdare arriving with a short game drive in time for lunch and check in at Aberdare Hotel, have lunch and relax. Afternoon transfer across aberdares park to The Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you!.
Day 4 Aberdare – Lake Nakuru (128 km – 3 to 4 hrs)
Early morning breakfast game en-route leave Aberdare for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch and check in at Flamingo Hill Camp . Afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s Great masses of Flamingos not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park.
Day 5 Nakuru – Maasai Mara (300 km – 5 to 6 hrs)
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Masai mara arriving in time for lunch. check in at Ashnil Mara camp or Mara Sarova Camp and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and a visit to Mara River .
Day 6 Masai Mara
Early morning game drive then return back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast spend the entire day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river.
Day 7 Masai Mara – Nairobi (265 km – 5 to 6 hrs)
Early Morning breakfast at your camp check out of the camp and park and Drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Lunch at carnivore afterwards drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
( Optional to our clients with Flights) – if you have an afternoon flight you need Lunch at Carnivore, but if you have an evening flight you can do more game drive till lunch time and arrive Nairobi at around 5 to 6 pm.
