Day 1 Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve by Plane (40 to 45 minutes)
Start early, as we pick you up from your hotel or residence, or meet you in from your arriving flight. We’ll take you to your domestic flight, ready to explore the Masai Mara.
As you soar over the wilds of Kenya, look out for the changing landscape as your leave the nation’s urban centre and head over the plains that you’ve been waiting for. Your private safari vehicle will be waiting for you at the landing strip, ready to whisk you away to your chosen accommodation.
En route to your lodge, hotel, or camp, you’ll get your first, small game drive through the Masai Mara. Take your time to glimpse the huge animals and start ticking them off your list quickly.
Once at your accommodation, leave your bags and freshen up, ready for a full afternoon out in the Masai Mara. With the sun overhead, the animals take time to cool down and become playful after a morning hunting or grazing.
The muted, orange light of the sunset will provide you with stunning backdrops to your photographs. Experience both colours and animals you’d never imagined before as you see the end of the day on the Masai Mara.
Return to your accommodation for the evening, where dinner will be served. Each hotel or camp will have special ways for you to experience night-time here in the Masai Mara. Look for viewing decks and landscape windows to take in the twilight.

Day 2 Masai Mara National Reserve– Nairobi by Plane (40 to 45 minutes)
Sunrise is always a special time of day. Nocturnal animals settle in for the night whilst the beasts of the day rouse and being their adventure. This can all be witness high above the Masai Mara with a dawn hot air balloon trip followed by breakfast out on the plains. As an optional extra, there is an additional cost of $425 per person.
Your dawn game drive without the hot air balloon experience will give you chance to be close to the dawn chorus. Activity levels will be high whilst the air is cool; use the dappled morning sun to capture awe-inspiring photographs.
After your early morning activities, head back to your accommodation for a hearty breakfast. Drink in views over the grasslands with your local tea and coffee, grab your bags, and make your way to your tour vehicle.
It’s time to bid farewell to the Masai Mara for this trip with a final game drive that ends at the airstrip. Upon your return to Nairobi, you will be picked up from Wilson Nairobi airport and taken to your hotel, residence, or any other destination within the city.

When taking domestic flights between parks, it is important that you only carry soft sided bags rather than hard-cased suitcases. There is a strict limit of 15 kg, or 33 lbs, combined for each passenger’s luggage, including hand luggage. Excess baggage will be charged by the airline directly at check in.
