All travelers planning to visit Tanzania—including infants and children—must hold a valid e-Visa before arriving. Submit your application through the official Tanzania Immigration website, www.immigration.go.tz. Any applications processed through unofficial third-party sites may be rejected. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must complete the application on their behalf.

Types of Tanzania e-Visas

The following travelers do not need an e-Visa:

• Tanzanian citizens or passport holders
• Travelers from visa-exempt countries (e.g., some SADC and East African Community states)
• Travelers holding a valid residence permit for Tanzania
