Get a truly authentic Kenyan safari accommodating in the Tented Camp.
Early pickup from your Kenyan beach resort. Set out on the Mombasa – Nairobi highway. The 120 km dawn drive takes us to the southern entry point of the Tsavo East National Park, where we stop briefly for refreshments (optional).

We then proceed to our accommodation, where we have lunch. A relaxed afternoon game drive is scheduled for later in the day, with magnificent views of the African sunset.
We shall be up before sunrise! Dawn finds us set and ready for our early-morning game drive. We will experience the splendor of an African sunrise that engulfs the savanna as we traverse the vast Tsavo East Park in search of the early grazers and hunters.
At 09:00 am we shall return to your lodge or camp for breakfast and then depart for Tsavo West National Park, with a relaxed mid-morning game en-route.
To make sure you get as much time as possible in the wilds of Africa, you will have a picnic lunch in the Tsavo West National Park. This is one of the most biodiverse regions in the world and your chances of seeing many species of animals in their natural habitat is incredibly high. We will also visit the rhino sanctuary before returning to your camp or lodge for dinner.
Our final day on safari. Out with the sunrise for a pre-breakfast game drive. Nature is at its best at this time, with the predators out for the hunt and the herbivores browsing and grazing the dewy vegetation. Natural colors dominate the scenic volcanic terrain.
After a full breakfast at your camp or lodge, we shall venture out again… this time to visit the Mzima Springs, with more game viewing en route.
At the Mzima springs, we will take a nature walk as we marvel at sparkling clear waters and the surrounding greenery, which is a welcome reprieve in this semi-desert terrain. We will view hippos, crocodiles, colourful fish and unique migratory birds.
After leaving Tsavo West, we head back to the Kenyan coast, stopping en route for lunch at a town called Voi. We arrive in the late afternoon and drop you off at your beach resort or Mombasa Airport.

Both parks have excellent wildlife viewing throughout the year, but the dry seasons from June to October and January to February are considered the best times to visit. During these months, animals congregate around rivers and waterholes, while thinner vegetation makes wildlife easier to spot. The green season brings lush scenery, dramatic landscapes, and exceptional birdwatching.
This safari includes hotel pickup and drop-off from most major accommodations in Mombasa, Nyali, Bamburi, Shanzu, Diani Beach, Watamu, and Malindi. Your exact pickup location and departure time will be confirmed before travel to ensure a smooth start to your safari.
Most guests are collected between 5:00 am and 7:00 am, depending on their hotel location. Early departures allow plenty of time to reach Tsavo East for your first game drive before lunch.
Tsavo is famous for its iconic red-dust elephants, whose distinctive color comes from rolling in the region’s red volcanic soil. The parks are also home to large lion prides, including Tsavo’s famous maneless lions, as well as buffalo, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, and more than 500 bird species. In Tsavo West, the protected Rhino Sanctuary has one of Kenya’s best opportunities to see the endangered black rhino, while the park’s ancient baobab trees and volcanic scenery make it one of the country’s most distinctive safari landscapes.

Children should always be accompanied by an adult during game drives, and parents are encouraged to bring any child-specific essentials to ensure a comfortable journey.
We recommend bringing lightweight neutral-colored clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for cool mornings, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, a camera, personal medication, and a reusable water bottle. Soft luggage or a small overnight bag is preferable for ease of travel.
